SEPTEMBER 2 , 2008 - HARRIS HOLDS ONTO LEAD IN THE NASCAR NATIONAL POINTS!!!

After a long weekend of racing that included a 2nd place finish in Farley, a 4th place finish in West Liberty, and another feature win in Dubuque, the team continues to hold onto the NASCAR standings lead.

The weekend also brought home a track championship in Farley as the season championship on Friday night brought the season to an end.

Dubuque and West Liberty still have one week remaining with Brian leading the points in West Liberty and a close second behind Andy Eckrich (10 points behind) in Dubuque.

Monday's Rumble on the River was looking to be a great event for the team right up until feature time when the 21H car was send spinning on the very first lap of the race. Damage to the left front suspension retired the team to the pits for the night for a disappointing end to the holiday weekend.

Brian and the team will be back in action this Saturday at West Liberty and Sunday in Dubuque.

AUGUST 26, 2008 - HARRIS LEADS THE NASCAR NATIONAL POINTS!!!

JULY 14 , 2008 - ONE MORE NOTCHES IN THE WIN COLUMN AND A JUMP UP IN THE NATIONAL NASCAR STANDINGS!

With Farley taking a break for a few weeks the team focused its efforts on West Liberty and Dubuque. West Liberty fell to rain on Saturday which left just one points night for the team. With a second row starting spot the 21H made quick work to get to the front of the pack. Leading virtually every lap of the race all the while blowing smoke that seemed to be fatal Brian held on for the win.

Nationally Brian lept from 5th to 3rd in the Naitonal NASCAR standings prior to the weekend's events. With yet another win in the books and another points night in West Liberty on Wednesday evening the team hopes to make even more progress in the standings!

JULY 7 , 2008 - HOLIDAY WEEKEND... IN LIKE A LAMB, OUT LIKE A LION!

The weekend began in Farley on July 4th and although no fireworks were scheduled for the evening the team did their best to get in the spirit of the holiday by blowing an engine early in the feature. With the front of the 21H covered in smoke the night was short lived and disappointing for the team.

Saturday and Sunday got back to normal as Brian and the 21H team again brought home feature wins in both West Liberty and Dubuque.

JUNE 30, 2008 - WEATHER CLAIMS FARLY AND DUBUQUE... BUT HARRIS TAKES WEST LIBERTY CHECKERS WITHOUT MISSING A BEAT.

Following the first weekend of the year that went off with a hitch this past weekend was back to the same old story. Friday in Farley with the 21H on the track lining up for the heat race storms hit the area and claimed the event. Sunday was much the same story.

West Liberty stayed clear of the storms on Saturday evening which allow the team to not only rack up another feature win but also gain two spots in the national NASCAR ranking moving from 7th to 5th overall!

JUNE 24, 2008 - HARRIS CONTINUES TO DOMINATE SPI TRACKS

For the first time in the 2008 season all three SPI tracks were able to hold events. Beginning on Friday, Brian once again blew by the field to take the win. For the first time in 2008 Brian also took the checkers in West Liberty. On Sunday the weekend was a near sweep as harris came up just short of another win by finishing second.

At the commencement of the weekend Brian held the track points lead in Farley and Dubuque and is a close second behind Jeremiah Hurst in West Liberty.

JUNE 20, 2008 - GOING INTO THE WEEKEND HARRIS SITS AT 7TH NATIONALLY IN THE NASCAR WEEKLY RACING STANDINGS

Brian's consistent season is beginning to pay off as he climbs up the national rankings in the NASCAR Weekly racing standings. As of today Brian sits at 7th only 8 points behind 6th. With all the rain in the area Brian also has quite a few less starts than do those ranked above him. If mother nature cooperates the rest of the season Brian has a great chance of finishing in the top five and potentially with a national championship.
